All poster owners who have participated in the Virtual Poster Session organized by Koç University Suna Kıraç Library and whose e-posters have been approved and the participants who will contribute to the session are subject to the following content and rules.

FOR AUTHORS:

POSTER RULES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • You can select a working template for your interactive iPoster from a variety of choices: PPT, PPTX, PDF, Sway, Prezi, Powtoon, Genially, Video, etc.
  • Your iPoster should include: Title, Subtitle (if applicable), Author/-s affiliation (contact details / Institution / Country)
  • PPT, PPTX, PDF, Sway, Prezi, Genially, Powtoon file size should be max. 25mb.
  • Videos should be up to 5’ long

Only posters with a fully developed idea will be accepted.

Authors have to be available to reply to comments at their convenience during June 10 – 12, to assure the interactivity targeted with the audience.


POSTER APPROVAL TEXT

Intellectual Property Rights Agreement: 

I hereby acknowledge and confirm that the poster which I have sent has been prepared by me, is an original piece of work, and hereby grant all necessary permission for my work to be published electronically and to be available for comments within the context of the online poster session to be held by Koç University Suna Kıraç Library; and that I will answer the questions asked about the content of my work in the Suna Kıraç Library hosted website.  Within the scope of this contract I, in turn, authorize my poster to be archived and made available in any electronic format, commencing after the signature date, on the condition that I retain all ownership and patent rights pertaining to the poster as well as the usage rights for any part and the entirety of my poster and future work.

Comment Rules: Institutional guidance on acceptable language and content

The following forms of content posted by external and authorized users may be subject to removal if they contain:

  • Profane language or content;
  • Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination of protected classes;
  • Sexual harassment content;
  • Solicitations of commerce or advertisements including promotion or endorsement;
  • Promotion or endorsement of political issues, groups or individuals;
  • Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
  • Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
  • Content intended to defame any person, group or organization;
  • Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party, such as trademark or copyright infringement;
  • Publishing false, vicious or malicious statements concerning any employee, the Library, or its operations;
  • Violent or threatening content;
  • Disclosure of confidential, sensitive or proprietary information.
